Last week, at * * we hosted delegation of start-up entrepreneurs from *Uganda* under the *Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)* NINJA Accelerator program, in partnership with *Hindsight Ventures* , alongside representatives from Uganda’s Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives. The Interswitch Kenya team, led by the Country General Manager, *Bernard Kinara* engaged with the founders sharing insights on innovation.
We highlighted the Interswitch story—a vision of over 20 years fueled by a purpose to create opportunities that inspire Africa to greatness through innovation and value creation.
During the session, we shared our commitment to empowering entrepreneurs through digital payment solutions, driving financial inclusion, and offering business support tools. We identified areas of collaboration, and we are excited to explore further. What stood out the most was the passion and creativity of the start-ups presenting scalable solutions in fintech, Agritech, and Edtech, tackling local challenges with innovation and resilience.
