General Description
Have an understanding on how to use the Android Studio IDE and other IDEs used in Java development
Roles are likely to include planning, development and troubleshooting.
To actively develop layout and functionalities of an android application
To actively develop layout and functionalities of a Management Information System
To assist in complying to money transfer regulator’s requirements and other requirements
Requirements
BS Degree in either Computer science, Information Technology, or related fields
4 - 5 years understanding of Java programming language
Good understanding of Java Enterprise Edition technologies
Good understanding of DBMS, Cloud Storage, Cloud Services
Good understanding of Language frameworks such as Ajax, AngularJS, NodeJS
One to two years’ work experience in a similar role understanding of, and experience with, application development, database management systems and server-client computing
Proficiency in English
Ability to work unsupervised
Ability to meet deadlines
Optional Requirements
Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Bigtable
Experience with Google Cloud solutions such as Endpoints, Storage, Messaging API, etc.
Experience with git version management
Experience with Java unit testing, system testing and integration testing and proficiency in using the related technologies and software suites such as Junit
Experience with Managed Virtual Machine instances
Experience in the use of an issue tracking system eg Redmine or Gitlab
Important Job Functions
Development of an android application
Development of a web backend for the android application
Development of Management Information System
Testing and documenting the products
Help in writing the user manual for the products
Co-ordinating with fellow programmers to come up with feasible solutions during programming
Strong organizational skill to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly and within the constraints of business timeline and budget
Designing graphics, animations and manipulating digital photographs
