Bayobab Kenya staff led by our Managing Director Sylvia Anampiu through the Employee initiated program took some time to donate resources and with children at the Good Samaritan Children's home in Soweto area of Kayole, Nairobi City. We believe in sustainable upliftment of the communities in which we operate in. This particular visit was guided by SDG 3: Good Health and well-being - Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.

Children have a way of lighting up adults: When you respond to their curious questions genuinely; when you attentively listen to them telling you about their lives and experiences as you tell them about yours; when you vividly paint for them hope; when you play with them the games they enjoy and let them win after putting in good effort; when you cook for them; serve them and eat with them while affirming the great potential that lies inside for them to put in the work. Bayobab and Africa50 Infrastructure Investment Platform are proud to announce our partnership to develop East2West, a terrestrial fibre project connecting the Eastern to the Western shores of Africa, reshaping the future of connectivity in Africa.

This partnership will see a significant investment in Pan-African terrestrial fibre optic cable connecting ten African countries. It will offer substantial improvement for data traffic for Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), and hyper scalers operating in these countries.
