NYPD Finally Evicts Tenant Who Destroyed East Harlem Apartment After Almost 2 Years – Caused $30K in Damage! 🤯
This video highlights the nightmare of a landlord in East Harlem. Tenant Falade Aderidigbe moved into a newly built apartment in March 2024 paying $2,350/month with a city voucher. He allegedly destroyed walls, ripped out sheetrock, and wrecked the bathroom — causing around $30,000 in damage.
The landlord spent another $40,000 in legal fees trying to evict him. It took nearly 2 years for NYPD to finally remove him. Three other tenants even broke their leases because they felt unsafe. The landlord says the city places mentally ill people in private housing and leaves landlords to deal with it.
The video shows the extent of the destruction. This is why many landlords are fleeing NYC.
