John “Jack” Robinson Biggs Sr., 92-Year-Old Former State Trooper, Accused of Fatally Stabbing His 89-Year-Old Wife Jane Inside Their Goodyear, Arizona Home as Family Raised Dementia Concerns

A 92-year-old former state trooper is facing murder charges after prosecutors say he fatally stabbed his 89-year-old wife inside their Goodyear, Arizona, home.

John “Jack” Robinson Biggs Sr. appeared in court Saturday after being released from the hospital and was ordered held on $1 million bond. He is charged with second-degree murder and aggravated assault in the death of his wife, Jane Biggs.

The couple's adult son reportedly discovered Jane's body after becoming concerned about his father's recent behavior. Prosecutors said she suffered multiple stab wounds and injuries consistent with defensive wounds.

Biggs' family and defense attorney have raised concerns about a recent mental decline and possible symptoms of dementia. His attorney noted that the former Maryland state trooper has no known criminal history and served in law enforcement for about 25 years.

Prosecutors argued that the seriousness of the allegations warranted the high bond, and the judge agreed. If released, Biggs would face house arrest and electronic monitoring.

His next court hearing is scheduled for September 4.

Lisa Peele and Jessie Holcombe Identified as Mother and Daughter in Viral Lexington Racist Parking Lot Video as Jessie’s Employer Requests Footage for Immediate Action and Workers’ Comp Questions Surface

The two women seen in a viral racist confrontation in a Lexington, South Carolina, parking lot have been identified online as Lisa Peele and Jessie Holcombe, with social media creator Michael McWhorter, known as TizzyEnt, sharing a major update on the fallout.

The original video sparked widespread outrage after the women were heard shouting racist remarks at a Black woman, including telling her to “go back to Africa.”

McWhorter identified Jessie Holcombe as the younger woman and Lisa Peele as the older woman, whom he says is her mother. He also reported that both women later locked their social media pages.

One major development came when McWhorter shared a message he said was from Jessie Holcombe’s employer, requesting the unedited footage so the business could review the incident and take “immediate action.” McWhorter said he provided the video.

He also raised questions about a potential workers’ compensation claim involving Holcombe after noting that she was wearing a knee brace while appearing to walk and stand without assistance in the viral footage. Any claim of workers’ compensation fraud remains unverified and would need to be investigated by the appropriate authorities.

The incident has sparked a wider conversation about racism and accountability—and the consequences that can follow when hateful behavior is captured and shared online.

Montana Man Alan Smith Killed Eight Relatives, Including Four Children, During Sunday Family Dinner After Returning to Home Where His Parents Had Recently Asked Him to Move Out

A Montana family and the Billings community are grieving an unimaginable tragedy after eight relatives, including four children, were killed during a Sunday family dinner, according to family members and investigators.

The suspected gunman has been identified by a family member as 44-year-old Alan Smith, who allegedly returned to his parents' home outside Billings weeks after they had asked him to move out. Smith had lived with his parents for years, according to relatives.

Family members say generations of the family had gathered for their regular dinner when Smith allegedly opened fire. The victims ranged in age from 7 years old to a great-grandmother in her 90s, devastating four generations of one blended family.

Among those killed were Megan Ghekiere and her children, 13-year-old Owen Ireland and 7-year-old Chloe Ireland, along with Megan's stepchildren, 15-year-old Landon Ghekiere and 12-year-old Charlotte Ghekiere. Smith's parents and other relatives were also among the victims.

In the midst of the horror, Charlotte is being remembered as a hero. Family members say the 12-year-old called 911 and tried to save her family as the attack unfolded.

Police responding to reports of gunfire arrived Sunday evening and heard additional shots coming from behind the home. The house soon became engulfed in flames, making rescue efforts and the investigation even more difficult. Authorities later confirmed that eight people had died and that the suspected shooter suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound and later died.

Friends have launched GoFundMe fundraisers to support the surviving family members, including Adam Ghekiere, who lost his wife and children, and other loved ones devastated by the massacre.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to fully piece together what happened during the family's Sunday gathering. But for the loved ones left behind, the focus is now on mourning eight lives—including four innocent children—lost in an act of violence that has left an entire community heartbroken.

Missouri Trooper Colten Henderson’s Wife Haley Henderson Killed in Wrong-Way Head-On Crash on U.S. 65 as Trooper and Their Two Children Survive and GoFundMe Is Launched for Grieving Family

A Missouri family is facing unimaginable heartbreak after Haley Henderson, the wife of Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper Colten Henderson, was killed in a devastating wrong-way crash on U.S. 65 in Hollister on Saturday, August 22.

According to authorities, the crash happened when a 69-year-old Branson woman was driving north in a southbound passing lane and collided head-on with the Henderson family's vehicle. Haley tragically died from her injuries, while Trooper Henderson was seriously injured. Their two children, ages 10 and 11, also suffered injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

Trooper Henderson and his two children have since been released from the hospital and are recovering from their injuries. But as they begin the difficult journey ahead, they are also grieving the devastating loss of Haley—a wife, mother and beloved member of their family.

A GoFundMe fundraiser has been launched by a family friend to support the Henderson family during this heartbreaking time. The Missouri State Troopers Association has also shared the fundraiser as the community rallies around Trooper Henderson and his children. The campaign had raised more than $88,000 as of Tuesday afternoon, reflecting the overwhelming support for the grieving family.

In just moments, the Henderson family's lives were changed forever. As Trooper Colten Henderson and his children recover and face life without Haley, friends, fellow law enforcement officers and members of the community continue to stand beside them.

Karen Solomon Found Dead from Apparent Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound Ending 6-Day Manhunt Following Murder of Husband Worcester Police Officer Kurt Solomon

The six-day multi-agency manhunt for Karen Solomon, 58, has ended after her body was discovered Monday in a wooded area near Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. Two hospital employees located her remains, and Worcester Police Chief Paul Saucier confirmed she died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, officially bringing a tragic end to what authorities have ruled a murder-suicide.

Karen had been wanted since August 18, 2026, when her husband, 31-year veteran Worcester Police Officer Kurt Solomon, was found dead inside their home suffering from fatal injuries caused by a sharp object. Doorbell camera footage had captured Karen walking away from the scene in a T-shirt and flip-flops shortly after officers arrived. A massive search involving local, state, and federal agencies utilizing drones, tracking dogs, and boats had been underway ever since.

The tragedy has left both the local and law enforcement communities stunned. Ironically, Karen was a prominent national advocate for police mental health, co-founding the organization First H.E.L.P. and authoring books including “The Price They Pay” to support first responders and their families. Police noted there was no reported history of domestic violence between the couple, and the gun recovered near her body was not a police service weapon.

In a statement read by Chief Saucier, the Solomon family shared that the nightmare has left them "heartbroken and rudderless," while offering gratitude for the dedication and empathy shown by law enforcement. Kurt Solomon, remembered by his peers as a "tremendous human being," will be laid to rest this week.

Texas Roadhouse Responds After Nancy Smith’s Viral Post Claims 400,000 White Servers Spit in Black Customers’ Food, as Her Account Is Deactivated and Allegations Remain Unverified

Texas Roadhouse is responding after a disturbing viral social media post sparked widespread outrage by claiming that white restaurant servers were deliberately tampering with the food of Black customers.

The controversy began with a Facebook post attributed to Nancy Smith, who claimed she was part of an alleged group of more than 400,000 white servers. In the post, she made shocking accusations that members of the group targeted Black diners and contaminated their food, specifically mentioning Texas Roadhouse and Logan’s Roadhouse.

The claims quickly spread across social media, leaving many people angry and concerned. However, despite the post going viral, there is currently no independently verified evidence that the alleged 400,000-member Facebook group exists or that any customer's food was actually tampered with.

The original post was later deleted, and Smith's account was reportedly deactivated as attention surrounding the allegations continued to grow.

Texas Roadhouse has since addressed the controversy, saying it takes accusations involving its restaurants seriously but believes the claims are unfounded. The company said it is investigating the allegations and emphasized that discrimination, harassment and mistreatment of any kind are not tolerated.

“At Texas Roadhouse, we are committed to creating an environment where every guest is treated with respect,” the company said, reiterating its commitment to treating customers with dignity and providing the service guests expect.

For now, the allegations against Texas Roadhouse remain unverified, and no evidence has publicly confirmed that employees at the restaurant chain—or any other restaurant mentioned in the viral claims—engaged in the alleged behavior.

The story has nevertheless sparked a wider conversation online about racism, food safety, accountability and the importance of separating verified facts from viral claims as serious allegations spread across social media.

Southwest Flight Attendant Jenny Lupton, 50, Found Dead After Falling From 24th Floor of Hawaii Hotel as Family Questions What Happened

A heartbreaking tragedy has left a family searching for answers after Southwest Airlines flight attendant Jenny Lupton was found dead outside a hotel in Waikiki, Hawaii, while on a work layover.

Lupton, 50, was discovered near a dumpster at the Hilton Hawaiian Village early Thursday morning. Authorities are investigating her death, and medical examiners believe she fell from the balcony of her hotel room on the 24th floor.

But her family says they do not believe the Oklahoma mother intentionally took her own life. Her sister, Tresa Lupton, said the family believes Jenny's death may have been a tragic accident or that someone else could have been involved.

The family says Jenny had been enjoying her time in Hawaii before the tragedy. She had gone out dancing with a fellow flight attendant and had recently gotten a tattoo, even messaging her sister about plans to have it finished after returning home.

Jenny had worked as a Southwest flight attendant for 23 years and leaves behind her 15-year-old son, Kaleb. Friends and family have remembered her as a vibrant, unforgettable woman who brought joy wherever she went.

Her niece, who was inspired by Jenny to become a flight attendant herself, described her aunt as someone who could light up any room and make every moment memorable.

As investigators work to determine exactly what happened, Jenny's loved ones are left grieving—and hoping for answers about the devastating loss of a mother, sister and friend who, they say, had so much life left to live.
