If you work in customer service, making a mistake does not mean you are bad at your job.

Sometimes you will misunderstand a customer, miss something, give the wrong information or handle a situation badly.

What matters is what happens after that.

Can you admit you got it wrong? Can you fix what you can? Can you learn from it so the same thing does not keep happening?

Good customer service is not about never making mistakes. It is about taking responsibility when you do and making things right as much as you can.
