Sales Engineer (temp to permanent)
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for visiting potential and existing client sites (within Nairobi), for: sales, installation, configuration and support.
Technical skills:
* Moderate TCP/IP networking.
* Windows (XP/7/8) networking, configuration and troubleshooting.
* WiFi 802.11 g/n and related encryption configuration and troubleshooting.
* Some lifting, drilling and ladder work as required during network cabling activities.
* Creating basic technical documents and diagrams to capture site-specific information.
* Basic knowledge of Cloud computing.
Soft skills:
* Good communication and customer service.
* Time-management.
* Attention to detail.
* Process-driven with an eye for refinement as needed.
* Sales experience or expertise.
Relevant certifications/degrees are a plus but not required provided there is evidence of prior relevant experience.
This is a temp to permanent position with a monthly compensation (based on qualifications) of: Kes. 20-35,000 with additional bonus/commissions for successful sales, installation and retention.
