🚕 Our first product helped our ride-hailing platform in Kenya match drivers with passengers based on trust networks, not just proximity. People started reaching out from all over the world saying, that's how trust works in my country/industry too!

The trust equation says trust = Intimacy X Credibility X Reliability / Self-orientation. We honed in on intimacy as closeness in a social graph.

🌐 The story of trust on the internet begins in 1989 when Tim Berners-Lee created the World Wide Web. A decentralized system where anyone could share information freely. But with freedom came a crucial question: Who do you trust?

📱 Early internet users relied on personal connections and basic reputation systems. Email forwards from friends, forum moderators, and website reviews became our first digital trust signals.
