So over the weekend, I got the chance to just search up one key word that kept coming to mind: CYBERCRIME.

You'll be surprised at what I found.

So according to an analysis by Kaspersky reelased on 2nd August, Kenya has experienced a 438% rise in cybercrime cases in the first 6 months of 2022. Guess what Nigeria got. 178%. Yup. We beat them by over 250%.

This comes from "human hacking" where you are required to enter some personal info, be it a login to your Twitter account or your bank details.

We advise that you install an anti-phishing toolbar, do not enter information on sites you do not trust and get the latest antivirus software as well.

HOME DIARY

So you have finally installed WiFi in your house. It's the best feeling ever that now for a monthly fee you can browse and stream unlimited on all sites you desire. However, there is a bit of a problem. Depending on the position of your router, you may not be getting a good signal when you're in some parts of your home. So we have a few Solutions for that.

1)Wifi Extender/Repeater

These devices are well known for helping to boost the signal of the WiFi around your home. However some of them eg MI WiFi Range Extender Pro will require you to set it up with a smartphone app, which can be stressful, but once its up and running you and your family will enjoy WiFi in your house.

2) Another Router

This is a very simple and dare we say cheaper solution to your problems. Routers eg TPLink are cheaper to purchase and install. All we need to do is cable it from the main router and increase the signal in the desired region.
