5 STEPS TO HELP KEEP YOUR NEW LAPTOP SECURE
1. Enable the firewall that comes with the operating system and turn on windows defender.
2. Set strong passwords – use at least one uppercase letter, lowercase letter, number and symbol.
3. Update the operating system including the preloaded anti-virus or install a reputable antivirus.
4. Rename the Admin account.
5. Disable unnecessary services e.g. Location, Bluetooth etc which can be enabled when needed.
