🗣️🎙️ Yaya Touré on Pedro Neto to Manchester City: "No, no - I can’t take this from Enzo Maresca or whoever is behind this. Pedro Neto to City? That can’t happen at all. If you think he will be a replacement for Savinho, that means we’re going from the fire into the frying pan.

Yes, what has he done for Chelsea since he moved from Wolves? What? Tell me one thing - just one. And now Chelsea want to push him out for Manchester City to experiment?

Right now all I can think of is Enzo Maresca pushing for this because he was once a coach here. Even earlier I heard rumours about Cole Palmer.

You see, here at Manchester City, Pep Guardiola has set a standard and that must be maintained. How many years was Pep at City and not a single year without a trophy? Look at his signings - great players with talent but low profile, then he built them.

That’s what Enzo is supposed to do: follow suit and maintain that pattern. Because I don’t think if Pep was still Manchester City manager he would ever go for Pedro Neto.
