In August 2022 in Mumias East, charlatans and Quacks gave academic elites and thinktanks a run for their money and elected one of their own. Their own has been giving slaps and blows to anyone who cares and cares not to receive them. A self-proclaimed Jet-Li. His favorite arena is the funeral ground and mourners also add up as cheerleaders!

Charlatans shall do it again in 2027.
The government must now move with speed and keep away guns and crossbows from bwana Jet-Li.

Yesterday, the Shoulin Mafia used his Kung-Fu skills to give an MCA a resounding Kidero-Shebesh that has seen the MCA recall his doctor to an unplanned shift.

I extend my get-well-soon wishes to the MCA.

Wife: Oh, so you mean i am fat?
Husband: No, jogging is good for health.
Wife: Oh, that mean i am sick.
Husband: No no, if you don't want to get up, it is okay.
Wife: So now, you are trying to say I'm lazy, haa?
Husband: Now, you are misunderstanding me, I didn't..........
Wife: Ahaa! So i didn't understand you because i am an illiterate, right?

Wife: So, am i lying?
Husband: I beg you, please don't stretch it in the morning.
Wife: Oh, now i am a quarrelsome one?
Husband: Ok ok, you go off to sleep, I am going jogging alone, are you happy now?
Wife: See, you are so selfish, always think of yourself alone, you never think of my health.
Husband is sitting and thinking where he went wrong.

One day, my Kikuyu girlfriend angered my Luhya ancestors in a manner that was unforgivable.
It was on a Sunday evening. She had been pestering me that she missed eating my chicken stew. I prepare very delicious chicken, just for a fact. I wanted to surprise her. That evening, I asked her to boil water in a large bucket. I went downstairs and came back with a large pure breed kienyeji rooster. My caretaker owns a small poultry farm. He sold one to us.
It was a big roaster. I stared at its head and legs with yearning and hungering eyes and muted to myself, “What a delicious soup the two of you are going to make.” There is always that red part on the head of a rooster, and another red part that dangles under its beak. They are called the comb and the wattle, respectively. When I was growing up, they used to be the most delicious parts of a chicken. I loved eating the head for that reason. Learning that the rooster had a large wattle and comb excited me.
My girlfriend immersed the chicken in the water. After two minutes, we helped one another to pluck its feather off. It was always romantic when we helped one another with the cooking.
She helped me to divide it into two.
It had large malaas (small intestines). I was already salivating at them. I imagined roasting them on the jiko and taking them as an appetizer while the chicken was boiling. Everything was set for a perfect night. Then I received a call. I excused myself from the kitchen to receive it.
After five minutes, she shouted from the kitchen, “Babe, finish the call and come help me to chop the chicken into smaller pieces.” I ended the call after a minute and walked back into the kitchen to help her.
She laid the chicken on the chopping board. She had cleaned the area and dumped the feathers into the bin. I looked around the kitchen counter, but I did not spot the head. “Where is the head?’ I asked.
“I dumped it into the bin,” she said without looking at me.
My blood boiled. I was shocked. “

DEAD BIRDS INSIDE A NEST

They're waiting for their mother to bring food for them
but obviously the mother was killed.
Listen,
Every time you fight someone, you are also fighting their dependents.
Don't be the reason why someone is in pain.
Don't kill someone else's a dream just because you don't agree with their ideas.
Words have power, they can bring either life or death.
Instead of discouraging someone, support them with encouraging words.
Because in the end, you're not gonna pay for their bills.
Don't be the reason why they quit on their dreams!

Young man:

Take it from someone who knows the importance of a father & the impact of losing one. Forgive your father for not playing his part as you think he ought to have. Enough with the accusations & belittling “If my father was rich, I won’t be suffering today” or “What was he doing when his mates were making money?”, it’s not like his father passed wealth to him & he wasted it

Once you start making money & have people depend on you for their survival, you’d know how hard a father’s role is. I believe fathers aren’t appreciated enough, a lot of them do embarrassing jobs, take disrespect from their bosses, work endlessly barely resting, just to make money to take care of their families

Even if your father is a poor man, still respect him. Know this, no man will be at peace with him being unable to provide for his home. He might not show it, but it eats him every single day. And don't think he's too lazy to think of plan or implement it, life happens, things don't always go according to plan. But know this, every father wishes to be a father his children would be proud of

That your father is a drunkard isn't a reason to disrespect him. Sometimes the only escape he has from thoughts of failing to live up to your expectations is through the bottle. Cut him slack, nothing stresses a man than the inability to give his children the world

Respect your father regardless of his status in society & his financial situation. You have to obey him. You have to love him. You must understand his life path & mistakes. You are a man, you will make mistakes as well. Respect him. Learn OR perish!!!

It has been a great term, we have walked through thick and thin and eventually we have come to the end of the term, all students are expected to be at home before evening, except the boarding sections which are going to leave the school latest by tomorrow. Form four will continue with their studies as usual and we expect teachers to utilize this time to prepare them for the coming examination. Once again I say thank you.
