Now, I really don't know how to describe this, but let me try... I have always wondered why people shout while on phone, reaching the extent of speaking directly while the phone's speaker is placed on their lips. I keep asking myself if people know that the phone's mouthpiece is at the bottom of their handsets? Whenever they finish shouting at the phone's speaker, i see them placing the same speaker at their ears....

Whenever I visit an internet cafe/ cyber, my mind takes me back to when I first pressed a keyboard, I was a teenager 13years to be exact and I remember we used to operate windows98 by then, we didn't have Google chrome, never knew about mozila Firefox, the only web browser back then was windows internet explorer with a blue letter e icon. Computers were rare to find and only rich kids knew how to operate such machines. I got the chance to sign up for my very first email address, it was a yahoomail back then and i still use it upto date. At 13years having an email address back then was nonsense because internet was a luxury and computers were rarely found. The other day i was moving around where i grew up from and decided to try and locate where that internet cafe` was located but failed to see any sign of it. Kampala is rapidly changing too and our surbubs are looking different day in day out. In 2017 kids as young as 4years old know what internet is and even own expensive gadgets, some of us joined facebook after highschool but these days you find primary school kids busy chatting on facebook and whatsapp. Technology is changing our society but the people are not changing.
