GET A KENYAN PASSPORT(EAST AFRICAN)
How to get an ordinary East African passport as a Kenyan citizen. Open an ecitizen account. Fill the online forms correctly and upload the following items:-
i)Birth certificate
ii)National Identity card
iii)Parent(s)Identification Cards(ID)if available.
iv)Passport photo.
v) signature.
For renewal of an old passport
i)The last three pages of the old passport.
ii)Original birth certificate.
iii)Parents Identification Cards(ID)if available.
iv)Passport photo.
v) signature.
Pay Kshs 4550 via Mpesa paybill for the 34 pages(its advisable to pay for this one because they are available).
Download the form and receipt,print and visit any immigration offices for biometrics. Immigration offices are available in the following towns:- Nairobi ,Mombasa,Kisumu, Nakuru, Kisii, Eldoret. You have to go in person with the following items:-
i)Birth certificate and photocopy
ii)National Identity card and copy
iii) Parent{s} ID(s) photocopies.
iv)Recommenders ID copy.(should be a pastor or a lawyer)
v )Passport photo . It should be clipped on the form.
NB.
• If your parent(s) already have passport(s),ensure their numbers are entered online. It will be easier to track yours.
• For Emergency cases carry a document of proof.
• Its your right to 'own' a passport don't bribe, you have already paid for it.
