A “significant” result is not automatically an important result.
A small p-value may provide statistical evidence against a null model, given the assumptions used. But it does not measure the size or real-world value of the effect.
Good interpretation goes further. Check the effect size, the uncertainty around it, the study context and the practical consequences before drawing a conclusion.
