フランス発祥の展覧会アンデパンダンと主催者の名前アラタを合わせて作られた造語。
アンデパンダンの自由出品、無審査から象徴される自由な骨格をそのままに、
分野、様式、ジャンル、キャリア、あらゆる尺度を取り払った新しい展覧会です。

about Arata pendants
The coinage is made out of " Salon des Independants" formed in France and the name 'Arata' the host of this exhibition . It is a new-style exhibition with no scale of field, manner, genre,career,
which follows in unconfined device"no jury no regulations" that is originally set by "Salon des Independants'.
