Partnership & Speaker Announcement | GCES 2026

We are proud to announce that USEYA ADVANCED INDUSTRY
(Osaka, Japan) will participate
in the German Creative Economy Summit (GCES) 2026
as an Experience Partner, and will also deliver a 30-minute
invited session at the summit.

Creative Economy Summit

GCES is Germany’s leading nationwide summit for
the creative industries, bringing together policymakers,
industry leaders, creatives, and researchers from across
the country and beyond.

We have been officially invited to participate and speak
at GCES 2026, sharing insights from Japan on how XR and
AI can transform skill transfer and next-generation manufacturing.

At GCES 2026, USEYA will present:

A 30-minute talk on XR/AI-driven skill transfer
and manufacturing innovation

An on-site live XR demonstration of “SHUGI”,
our spatial-computing-based skill-transfer framework

A hands-on experience for GCES attendees

We are proud to share that USEYA has been selected as a Finalist in the
“XR Education & Training Solution” category at the XR Awards 2025, hosted by United XR and taking place in Brussels, Belgium.

The award ceremony will be held on December 9 at 18:00 (Brussels local time).

This recognition highlights the global momentum behind our skill-transfer platform SHUGI, which uses spatial computing, smart glasses, and AI to capture a master’s hand movements in 3D and overlay them onto the trainee’s real-time field of view.
By visualizing expert techniques with millimeter-level precision and enabling hands-on, real-world practice in XR, SHUGI opens new possibilities for craftsmanship training, industrial upskilling, and remote manufacturing.

This year, our legendary engineer and field commander, Kazuaki Tsuchiya, will be representing USEYA on-site in Brussels. His expertise and passion for XR engineering have been instrumental in driving SHUGI forward, and we are excited for him to stand on the global stage.

USEYA has officially joined the
Oxford Innovation Society (OIS) — the industry network of Oxford University Innovation (OUI).

This membership was granted after nearly four months of review and internal evaluation by OUI, making our acceptance especially meaningful.
For a small deep-tech company from Japan, being welcomed into one of the world’s most prestigious university innovation networks is extremely rare — and a strong recognition of our work and vision.

Announcement from USEYA Co., Ltd.

USEYA is pleased to share that our CEO, Oji Osamu, will continue to serve as a Regional DX Producer, contributing to the advancement of digital transformation across local communities in Japan.

The Regional DX Producer role focuses on connecting businesses, municipalities, and educational institutions, and supporting regional challenges through innovative technologies such as XR, AI, robotics, and spatial computing.
Currently, around 30 professionals nationwide are engaged in this mission.

As part of this ongoing initiative, Oji Osamu will continue to:

Support regional DX strategies and social problem-solving

This consecutive recognition places USEYA ADVANCED INDUSTRY (UAI) among a very small number of organizations worldwide to achieve back-to-back nominations at one of the most prestigious global XR competitions.

Our project, “SHUGI – XR Skill Transfer System,” is a distinctive initiative from Japan that uses XR and AI to record, visualize, and transfer the skills of master craftsmen — redefining how human technique and knowledge can be preserved and shared inclusively across generations and borders.
