✨感謝を分かち合う ザ・プラントの称賛Workshop✨

最近、企業文化が注目されていますが、みなさんの職場ではどのような文化をお持ちでしょうか？

当社では、以下の「5つの約束」を奨励しており、昨年の社員旅行時には、これらを体現する賞賛Workshopを実施致しました。

こちらのWorkshop では、それぞれ「5つの約束」に基づいて行動している仲間へ感謝のメッセージを送り合う機会を設けました。直接感謝の想いを伝えるのは少し照れくさいものの、笑顔や拍手がたくさん溢れ、みんなで心温まるひとときを過ごすことができました👏

その後、メッセージカードを葉っぱに見立て、社名のザ・プラントにちなみ、植物のイラストを描いた模造紙に貼り付けました。こうして、たくさんの想いが詰まった「感謝の木」が完成です🌲💌

企業文化は短期間で築きあげられるようなものではありませんが、このようなWorkshopを設け、実践することが大切だと考えています。

During our most recent company retreat, we organized an Appreciation workshop that invited team members to write and exchange personal messages of gratitude - each tied to one of our five commitments.

Though expressing gratitude directly can feel a little awkward at times, the session was filled with smiles, applause, and heartfelt moments. 👏 To make the occasion special, we gathered the messages and created our very own “Tree of Gratitude”, a growing display & symbol of our shared appreciation and growth. 🌲💌

We believe a strong company culture is something you grow intentionally and steadily - not something that is achieved overnight. Workshops like this help us nurture what makes The Plant a place where people feel heard, valued, and inspired.

この度、ザ・プラントがGreat Place To Work ®（以下、GPTW Japan)から「働きがいのある会社認定」をいただきました！

GPTW Japanでは、従業員のサーベイへの回答をもとに、一定基準を満たす企業に「働きがいのある会社認定」を付与しています。日本では参加企業のうち、認定企業はわずか38%とのこと。このような中で認定を受けられたことを大変嬉しく思います！詳細はGPTW Japanのホームページ (リンク添付) でご覧いただけますので是非ご一読ください👏

弊社ではリモートワークの社員が多く、直接対面する機会が限られているため、コミュニケーションの機会創出にはさまざまな工夫を行っています。

たとえば、業務を円滑に進めるために、マネジャーとスタッフとの1on1を定期的に実施して、透明性を確保すると同時に心地よい距離感を保てるような機会を持っています。また人事部では、任意参加型のLunch & Learnや、月1回の懇親会、さらにWellbeingイベントの開催など、1年を通じてさまざまな活動を継続的に行い「つながり」を感じられる場所を提供しています。

ただ今回の認定は、何よりも弊社スタッフ一人ひとりが、日々の仕事を通じてザ・プラントのカルチャーを尊重し、行動してくれていることが、認定をいただくことができた大きな要因だと考えています。
この結果に満足せず、今後も全てのスタッフにとって、Great Place to Workであり続けられるよう、さらに進化してまいります！

✨The Plantの巨匠を発見！？アートでチームビルディング！✨ 🖼️


先日のチームビルディングでは、ワインを片手に油絵制作。今回のチームビルディングは売れっ子アーティスト気分を皆で満喫😊

作品に取りかかる前に10分間でテーマを決めるのですが、ザ・プラントにはアイデアマンがたくさん！どのチームも多くの意見が飛び交い大盛り上がり💡✨

それぞれが各パーツを描き、最後に一つの作品を組み合わせて完成です🎨😁

ダイナミックさや繊細さ、面白い要素を取り入れたりなど、それぞれの性格が作品に表れてきました🤭絵を通じてお互いの好みや考えを知ったり、意見を共有しながら、一緒に作品を完成させるプロセスはユニークなチームビルディングです。パズルの繋ぎ目や色使いが見事にマッチすると感動し、あちこちから歓声が上がっていました🙌🙌

完成後は、お互いのテーマや感想を発表し、まるで学生時代にタイムスリップし、美術の授業を受けているような懐かしい感覚でした✨たまには感性を研ぎ澄ますアクティビティもいいものですね！
次回は全員でもっと大きな作品を共に仕上げ、会社に飾るのも良いかもしれません❣️
みんなでまた協力して創作するのが楽しみです👏

Team Building through art : Discovering The Plant’s hidden artists!✨🖼️

At our recent team-building event, we all got to play the role of an artist for a day with some oil painting fun!

In just 10 minutes, each team brainstormed their themes, and with so many creative minds at The Plant, ideas were flowing!✨

We each painted different parts, coming together to create a single, vibrant masterpiece. The result? A fun and refreshing activity that showcased everyone’s unique style and personality. 🎨😁　

We learned so much about each other’s tastes and thought processes- and we’re already excited for the next creative project❣️ Maybe a bigger art piece for the office?👏

米国計算機学会 (Association for Computing Machinery) によると、世界の二酸化炭素排出量の約2～4％が、ICTセクターから排出され、データセンターが使用するエネルギーは過去10年間で倍増しているそうです。これは要するに、私たちの二酸化炭素総排出量が増加していることを意味しています。

そうしたテクノロジーが気候変動を加速させる一方で、地球温暖化防止に役立っている一面もあります。

それが「グリーンコーディング」です。
持続可能な未来をサポートする強力な方法と言われ、環境に配慮した効率的なコード作成やサーバーを使用し、不要データの削減を通じて、コンピューティングエネルギーを最小限に抑えるソフトウェア開発手法です。こうした手法で効率化を進めることで、二酸化炭素排出量を減らし、引いては、光熱費の削減にもつながります。

今はまだ、グリーンコーディングに関する議論は多岐に渡っており、その考え方が今後浸透していくかどうかについては未知数です。とは言え、こうした持続可能な未来に向けた技術革新が加速していることや、コーディングがエネルギー消費削減に貢献できる可能性について知ることは大切ですよね。

皆さんは、グリーンコーディングについてどのように思いますか？ご意見をお聞かせください。

Did you know that, according to the Association for Computing Machinery, around 2%- 4% of global carbon emissions are generated by the ICT sector, and the energy supply used by data centers has doubled over the past 10 years? This means that our combined carbon footprint is real, and it’s growing!

But here’s the good news: While computing has contributed to the climate change crisis, it can also help combat it.

One powerful way that we can support a sustainable future is through “Green Coding”.

Green Coding is an environmentally sustainable computing practice that seeks to minimize computing energy by crafting software with environmentally conscious software, writing efficient code, using eco-friendly servers, and reducing unnecessary data. This not only lowers a software’s carbon footprint but also improves efficiency and reduces utility bills.

While opinions on Green Coding vary and the jury is still out on whether eco-friendly coding will become the norm, it is exciting to see the accelerating pace of innovations for a more sustainable future, and to know that even with coding, every keystroke can help reduce energy consumption!

✨待ってました！第2回ボウリング大会🎳✨

5月の懇親会はチーム対抗戦、第2回ボウリング大会！😊👏

ボウリングが得意なメンバーは、ターキーを出したり、自己流の投げ方を伝授したりと本気度が違う！
ちょっぴり苦手なメンバーも、ストライクとガーターを繰り返して忙しそう！ちょっとボールの用途がおかしい、完全に遊びモードに入ってるメンバーもいたりとさまざま🤣

部署を超えたメンバー同士でチームを組み、ハイタッチで喜びを分かち合いながら親睦を深めました。🍽️😀

普段はデスクワークが多い私たちの運動不足もこちらで解消！💪

✨We had been waiting for this! Our 2nd Bowling Tournament🎳

In May, We held our 2nd bowling tournament as part of our monthly company social event! 😊👏
Our skilled bowlers impressed everyone by scoring turkeys and shared their unique techniques! Even those of us who weren’t as confident alternated between strikes and gutter balls, and some members got very creative in their use of the bowling ball 🤣
We formed teams with members from different departments, shared accomplishments with high-fives, and strengthened our bonds.🍽️😀
This event was a fantastic way to get some exercise as we usually spend a lot of time at our desks!💪

自然言語処理（NLP)は、どのようにテクノロジーと私達に関わっているのでしょうか？


NLPは、コンピュータプログラムが人間の言語を理解する技術です。Eコマースにおいても、ユーザーが会話で商品検索やお問い合わせができたりと、NLPの活用方法はいろいろな可能性を秘めています。うまく使うことができれば、売上増加、そして顧客満足度向上など、業績に直結していくことでしょう。

Amazon社が提供している音声検索機能は、音声の特徴と文脈を理解し、お客様に最適な商品をお勧めしています。NLPを活用することで、平均コンバージョン率4.63％を大幅に上回る、12％の驚異的な数字で達成しています。

また、米国を拠点とする食品スーパーマーケットチェーン、ホールフーズ・マーケット社では、お客様のお問い合わせに答えるだけでなく、購入履歴や嗜好に基づき、新商品をお勧めするチャットボットを導入しています。

🏆✨社内主演アカデミー賞は誰の手に？！🤩✨🏆

先月の懇親会はタコパ！

そもそもタコ焼きが初めてというメンバーもいる中、タコ以外を入れたオリジナルタコ焼きや、リゾットボールなど、もはやタコ焼きと言えないオリジナルの何かがたくさん生み出されていました🐙😊中には自宅からパンを焼いてきてくれたメンバーも🥖

ちなみに２枚目の写真はプロダクトチームが真剣な表情でタコ焼きに立ち向かう姿を激写📸🤭 弊社プロダクトチームはどんな「プロダクト」にもこだわります(笑)

後半はジェスチャーゲームを開催！
お題は「酔っ払い」「ボディーガード」「スパイダーマン」などの変わり種を用意。名演技・珍演技が続出した中、みんなのコミカルな動きに泣き笑いするメンバーも！

いつも協力的なみんなのおかげで、ゲームも盛り上がり楽しく過ごすことができました。
また次回もお楽しみに😉🌸

🏆✨Who will take home the Academy Award for best in-house actor?🤩✨🏆

Last month's social gathering was a takoyaki party!
For some members, it was their first time making and tasting takoyaki. Alongside the classic octopus-filled takoyaki, we had original creations like risotto balls and also enjoyed some homebaked bread as well!🥖
The second picture captures the serious expressions of our product team diving into the takoyaki! 📸🤭 They are meticulous about every “product” they handle!
During the second half of the party, we held a charades game! Some of the funny characters acted out included "drunkard,” "bodyguard,” and "Spider-Man.” Amidst stellar performances and some hilarious moments, everyone couldn't help but laugh at each other's comical movements!
Thanks to everyone's cooperation, the games were lively and enjoyable.
