思えば2020年、日本を代表するモーションキャプチャーディレクターの山添武氏に機材の相談を受け、光学式がいいのか、マーカーレスか、センサースーツで行くか何度もディスカッションさせていただきました。運用面やポスト処理面で、最終的にはXsensを推奨させていただきました

iPairs launches a mocap application for live performances using CG characters

With this application called n-Links, developed by アイ・ペアーズ株式会社, you can create the best live performances featuring VTubers or virtual characters.

This system allows Xsens mocap data to be retargeted and recorded into Yamaha Music Global's professional DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) such as Cubase or Nuendo using the OSC (Open Sound Control) protocol.

The data includes fully synched body motions, facial animations and lighting information, converted into the OSC protocol.

All elements of the production, including facial expressions, lighting, and camera movements can be edited on the same timeline as the music within the DAW.

This enables a complete, all-in-one production workflow for live virtual characters or Vtuber events.

i-Pairs and Yamaha are both users, supported by our Japanese partner Heltecセンシング事業部.
