One of Japan’s Largest Traditional Craft Festivals Comes to Tokyo
✨ Ishikawa Traditional Crafts Fair 2026 – ISHIKAWA CRAFT PRIDE ✨
📍 Tokyo International Forum (Yurakucho)
📅 February 6 (Fri) – February 8 (Sun), 2026
🎟 Admission Free
Over 15,000 exquisite craft works from 36 traditional craft regions of Ishikawa Prefecture will gather in one place for one spectacular event.
Ishikawa is known as one of Japan’s richest cultural regions, where traditional crafts have flourished since the Edo period under the patronage of the Maeda clan. The prefecture has ranked No.1 nationwide for over 20 years in both the number of Living National Treasures per capita and award recipients at the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition.
At this annual festival, visitors can see, touch, and purchase a wide range of authentic Japanese crafts—from ceramics, lacquerware, textiles, and metalwork to contemporary pieces rooted in tradition.
Special Highlights
New works born from disaster-affected craft workshops following the Noto Peninsula Earthquake
Pieces created from restored and recycled materials
Exclusive collaborative items with renowned pastry chef Hironobu Tsujiguchi
Hands-on craft workshops led by master artisans
A stunning kimono show featuring the latest works in Kaga Yuzen, Ushikubi Tsumugi, and Kaga Embroidery
This is a rare opportunity to experience the depth, resilience, and future of Japanese craftsmanship—all in one place.
