主力製品であった初代Kubiの製造停止から2年。この度、iPresenceは独自に国内量産・グローバル販売の権利を獲得し、次世代モデル「Kubi 2.0」の正式販売開始をプレスリリースいたしました！
ここに至るまでの道のりは、本当に紆余曲折の連続でした。
実は一度、量産レベルまで設計を完了させたモデルがあったのですが、量産見積もりした際にそのコストが全然合わなく、それを一度すべて白紙に戻し、一度は諦めかけたのですが、そこから再度一から機構、デザイン、コンセプト含めて再設計し直すという決断をしました。
タブレット設置時の重量バランス、バッテリーの持ち、ケーブルの煩雑さの解消など、現場のユーザー様からいただいたフィードバックを愚直に一つずつクリアにし、ようやく価格・品質ともに心から納得のいくプロダクトを完成させることができました。
現在、世界は「フィジカルAI（現実世界のモノやロボットをAIで自動制御する技術）」の時代へと急加速しています。どれだけ高度なAI（頭脳）が生まれても、現実世界で機能するための「身体（ボディ）」がなければ社会実装は進みません。Kubi 2.0は、その頭脳に今すぐ実用的なボディを提供できるソリューションです。

Two years after our flagship desktop telerobot, Kubi, went out of production, we are thrilled to announce a major milestone. iPresence has officially secured the licensing rights for domestic mass production and global sales, and we have just launched the official press release for the next-generation model: "Kubi 2.0"!
The journey to this launch was anything but smooth.
At one point, we had actually completed a production-ready design. However, when we received the mass production quotes, the costs simply didn't align with our market vision. Forced to scrap the entire blueprint, we nearly gave up. Yet, we chose to push forward—making the tough decision to rethink everything from the mechanics and aesthetics to the core concept, starting over entirely from scratch.
We listened intently to user feedback, rigorously tackling challenges like weight balance when mounting tablets, battery longevity, messy cabling, and portability. Through countless iterations, we have finally delivered a product that compromises neither on quality nor affordability.
Today, the world is rapidly entering the era of "Physical AI"—where AI systems autonomously control real-world objects and robots. No matter how advanced AI "brains" become, they cannot be deployed effectively without a "physical body" to interact with the world. Kubi 2.0 is designed to be that immediate, practical body for tomorrow's intelligent systems.
As a robotics manufacturer rooted in Kobe, Japan, this marks our first giant leap onto the global stage. No matter how much AI evolves, the human desire to "be there" and share spaces with loved ones remains unchanged. We will continue to bridge that gap through technology.
