"rock magazine" was founded by Agi Yuzuru 1947-2018 in Osaka, Japan in 1976. He was self-taught in design and did most of the editing work alone. He is a prodigy who worked as a singer, actor, music critic, music producer, DJ, editor, and fashion designer.

Hideki Nakajima, a graphic designer I admire, sent me a book of his works. He designed very elaborate, experimental and beautiful typography in the 90s. When I was a student, I subscribed to some of the magazines he art-directed and got a lot of inspiration from them.
