We demonstrated the Vectorscan display using the oscilloscope's X-Y mode.

Independent audio signals were input to the X and Y channels, respectively, and the graphics were displayed via vector scanning. The displayed graphics are the waveforms of the sounds being played simultaneously.

※An oscilloscope is a measuring instrument that displays temporal voltage changes of an input signal visually. At the same time, Vectorscan is a display method that uses two-axis vector scanning to draw shapes via lines and dots.

For Lexus' Milan Design Week installation, aircord was responsible for technical direction, CG production, software development and hardware development.

The massive screen, hand-woven with 35 kilometers of bamboo fiber, synchronizes with your heartbeat to create a uniquely immersive experience.

It embodies the essence of the Japanese philosophy of “A-Un breathing,” a phenomenon where two entities instinctively sync their movements and emotions.

iF DESIGN AWARD 2025 WINNER

“aircord Visual Identity System” has been awarded in the Company Branding category at the iF DESIGN AWARD 2025, which is recognized as one of the top three design awards globally!

In 2020, we rebranded the company for the first time in 14 years with a new CI, typeface, website, and other design elements that are unique yet simple and functional. Since then, we have been exploring the possibilities of different visual identities, including installations, 3D expressions such as AR, and motion graphics as an extension of the branding design.

-GENERATIVE 3D LOGO-

We built a prototype that shows how the user may interact with the system to change the letters and their arrangement and how the Aircord logo is reinterpreted in three-dimensional space.

The generate button allows users to co-create with the brand by generating new logo variations in real time with each touch.

The user's experience during generation creates a tale, and our goal is to develop a fresh design that communicates the brand's value.

サンリオキャラクタークロミの魅力を世界に発信していくプロジェクト「 # 世界クロミ化WEEK2024」の3D映像のテクニカルディレクション、制作を担当。JR新宿駅東口の大型街頭ビジョン「クロス新宿ビジョン」に、巨大3Dクロミを放映しました。

クロミ自身の魅力を発信していくと同時に、「みんながもっと自分自身を好きになれる世界」を作るため、クロミの活動に共感してくれる仲間を世界中に増やしていくプロジェクトです。

日本航空が行う、空の世界を新たな視点から紐解く体験型プログラム "JAL STEAM SCHOOL" のリニューアルにて、aircord はプランニング、ディレクション、開発を担当しました。

JAL STEAM SCHOOL は、STEAM（Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) の5つの領域を対象とした、理数教育に創造性教育を加えた教育概念）教育を軸にした、飛行機と空の世界にふれる学びの場です。様々な形の翼を組み合わせて飛行機をデザインし、シミュレーターを使って航空力学の基礎を学ぶことができます。

今回のリニューアルでは、翼の形や位置だけでなく、飛行機に対する風向き、荷物の搭載位置、エンジンの大きさなどの選択肢も加え、より多様なパターンで飛行特性を考えられるコンテンツにアップデートしました。今後はJAL SKY MUSEUM に常設されますので、Webサイトにてご予約の上、是非お越し下さい。
