My art exhibition of visual arts and literature is coming soon—a retrospective exhibition showcasing works created over four decades. The exhibition brings together my journey in graphic design, illustration, manga, editorial writing, and journalism, tracing both my personal and creative evolution while living and working in Japan. It will be on display at the Clark Museum, Pampanga, from February 13 to March 8, 2026.

I can’t help but wonder what has become of the paintings that are no longer with me. This piece is one of them. I like to imagine it living quietly in someone’s home or a space where it’s cared for and appreciated. I hope it’s in good hands — that whoever holds it now treats it with the same tenderness I once did. At times, I find myself missing these works, almost like missing old friends. And sometimes, I look back and wonder how I ever managed to create them in the first place — what frame of mind I was in, what sparked the choices I made, what led my hand across the canvas. They feel distant now, yet somehow still a part of me.
