Title: Senior QC/Acting Team Lead
Description:
We are looking for a passionate and talented Software Test Engineer to help KATIB team to fully test the Health Information System (HIS) product and to apply best quality standards on the existing product. Candidates must be self motivated and be able to succeed in a fast-paced environment; they must work well and stay cool under pressure and stress. Candidates must be inventive and focused in their approach to work and solving problems within project deadlines. This position is for the person with demonstrable experience in both web and server-side test methodologies. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize time and assigned projects effectively with a minimum of intervention or supervision. A successful candidate will take ownership of their test area and be responsible for overall quality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Test Planning and Reporting:
1. Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for KATIB HIS products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.
2. Plan testing cycles and define testing strategy.
3. Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in existing Product.
•Test Ex*****on:
1. Apply all testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
2. Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.
3. Make recommendations for improvement of applications to programmers.
4. Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project manager.
5. Apply all testing levels and types as per testing strategy to ensure the high quality product is delivered and as planned.
6. Apply Performance and Stress test on existing application.
7. Report test findings in professional clear format (written and Oral) to the development manager.
• User Acceptance:
1. Define UAT strategy to apply with the client.
2. Lead UAT sessions with the client and ability to communicate business cases and found issues in professional flexible manner.
3. Make recommendations for improvement of applications to client as per their business need.
4. Report UAT findings in professional clear format (written and Oral) to the senior manager.
Experience and Skills:
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Software Quality Control position,
• Have a Software testing related certificate, ISTQB, CSTE, etc
• Experience on automation concepts, frameworks and drivers.
• Strong analytical problem solving skills
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Functional knowledge of enterprise applications, supply chains, logistics, order management, etc. is a plus
The candidate must be fluent in both English and Arabic (Both written and spoken), has a professional and Positive Attitude and has an excellent research and analysis skillset.
