A 14-hour trip to Baghdad with the Endeavor Jordan team marked the beginning of our journey with Alaa Jarrar علاء جرار, Founder of Jo Academy.

During that visit, our team arranged multiple meetings that opened the door to a major opportunity, one that resulted in the acquisition of an Iraqi company and Jo Academy's official entry into the market.

This morning, we came together with Endeavor Entrepreneurs, board members, ecosystem leaders, and the teams behind Endeavor Jordan and Jo Academy to celebrate another significant milestone: Ala' Jarrar's selection into the Endeavor network.

Congratulations, Ala' and the entire Jo Academy team. We're excited for everything that's still to come.

Ala Jarrar, Founder of Jo Academy, is officially an Endeavor Entrepreneur!!

Since 2014, Ala has been rewriting what education looks like in Jordan, building one of the region's first e-learning platforms and turning Jo Academy into the name founders and families trust for Tawjihi prep. With curriculum aligned courses, expert-led video lessons, and an AI chatbot that meets students where they are, the platform has already reached more than 2 million students. Now, Jo Academy is looking beyond Jordan's borders, taking its model across MENA.

This is what Endeavor looks for: entrepreneurs who see a gap, build the solution, and then build it bigger, for everyone, everywhere.

We’re proud to celebrate Ala’s selection as an Endeavor Entrepreneur as a result of the 108th International Selection Panel in Athens.

Welcome to the network, Ala. The Elsewhere starts now.
Thank you to everyone that was part of Ala's selection journey, we truly appreciate you.

And to Endeavor Greece, thank you for your outstanding hospitality!

It is with profound sadness that we mourn the passing of Endeavor Co-founder, Peter Kellner.

Peter was far more than a visionary behind Endeavor's global journey. He was a true believer in Jordan's entrepreneurial potential from the very beginning. In 2008, he stood alongside us as Endeavor was launched in Jordan, serving as a founding Board Member and helping lay the foundation for what has become a thriving community of high-impact entrepreneurs.

Today, we join the entire Endeavor community around the world in mourning this tremendous loss.

Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Peter's family, his loved ones, and everyone across the global Endeavor community whose lives he touched. His vision, generosity, and lasting impact will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Peter. Thank you for believing in Jordan and in the power of entrepreneurs to change the world.

From Asia & Europe to North Africa!

Just as we wrapped up an incredible market exploration journey in Istanbul, we headed straight to Casablanca, Morocco, continuing Endeavor Jordan's WorldWise Access to Market program with a delegation of eight Jordanian companies eager to explore their next growth destination.

Throughout the visit, founders gained practical insights into what it takes to enter and grow in the Moroccan market, covering the legal and regulatory framework, company setup requirements, available incentives, talent acquisition, team building, local business culture, and Morocco's dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Our delegation had the opportunity to learn from outstanding ecosystem leaders through sessions including:
• Legal Aspects & the Business Environment in Morocco with Laila Slassi
• Expansion to Morocco: Talent, Building a Team & Culture with Endeavor Entrepreneur Asmaa Chakir Alaoui, Co-Founder & CEO of VelyVelo
• The Moroccan Ecosystem: Corporates & Regional Ambition with Yassine Laghzioui, Partner at UM6P - University Mohammed VI Polytechnic, and Endeavor Entrepreneur Ismael Belkhayat, Co-Founder of Chari.

Beyond the sessions, each participating company took part in curated one-on-one meetings with Moroccan entrepreneurs, investors, Endeavor network members, and key ecosystem players. These conversations created valuable opportunities to exchange experiences, validate market opportunities, and build meaningful relationships.

The visit included a networking evening that brought together founders and ecosystem leaders, opening the door to future partnerships and cross-border collaboration.

Of course, no visit to Casablanca would be complete without experiencing the city itself. From exploring its iconic landmarks and vibrant markets to enjoying its rich culture, food, and warm hospitality, our founders left with a deeper appreciation of Morocco, not only as a promising market, but as a place full of opportunity.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible team at Endeavor Morocco, Zineb Khayatei and Kawtar Ait Oulahyani, for your dedication, generosity, and seamless support throughout the visit. Special thanks as well to Ilan Benhaim, Chairman of Endeavor Morocco, for the warm welcome and continued partnership in strengthening the ties between our entrepreneurial ecosystems.

2.5 days, 9 Jordanian companies, and a market full of opportunity.

As part of Endeavor Jordan’s Worldwise Access to Market program, we recently led a delegation of nine Jordanian companies to Turkey for an intensive market exploration trip in Istanbul, designed to help founders better understand the opportunities and realities of expanding into the Turkish market.

Throughout the visit, participants engaged in a series of practical and insightful sessions covering key aspects of market entry and growth. Highlights included a deep dive into doing business in Turkey, exploring the legal framework, company setup requirements, incentives, and grants available to businesses entering the market, led by Nirva Altunkeser, Gülben Selvi, and Sertac Karacaferoglu. The delegation also participated in a session led by Sure Köse Ulutaş on talent, team building, and navigating Turkish business culture, providing valuable perspectives on building and scaling local operations.

In addition to the group sessions, each company benefited from a series of curated 1:1 meetings tailored to its industry, growth stage, and expansion goals. These conversations brought together founders with Turkish entrepreneurs, Endeavor board members, investors, and key ecosystem players, creating opportunities for candid knowledge sharing, strategic guidance, and meaningful relationship-building.

A special thank you to the Endeavor Türkiye team and especially Asli Kurul Turkmen, Dilan Özkul, Mehmet Ege Kurt, Melisa Fakabasmaz Özerdim, Deniz Naz Ürel, and everyone that was working behind the scenes, for their great support in making this trip a successful one!

Most people talk about long-term conviction in markets like Jordan. Few actually formalize it in front of the people building it.

This week, that conviction became tangible.

The Innovative Startups and SMEs Fund ISSF JO announced a USD 7 million investment into Endeavor Catalyst – Fund V, strengthening a partnership built on a shared belief: that high-impact companies can and will emerge from Jordan and scale globally.

The relationship was formalized in a signing ceremony between Endeavor Catalyst Managing Partner Allen Taylor and Eng. Mohammed AlMuhtaseb, CEO of ISSF, in the presence of H.E. the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Sami Smeirat.

Endeavor has been present in Jordan since 2009, its first market in the MENA region. Through challenges and moments that tested resilience, the commitment never changed: show up for founders.

This week was no different.

Allen flew in from San Francisco for only six hours, Yana El Dirani, Head of MENA at Endeavor Catalyst, came from Dubai for less than 24 hours, for resilient entrepreneurs building through complexity, not waiting for it to pass.

And what they continue to find in Jordan is consistent: a new generation of founders building from here, for here, and increasingly, for everywhere and elsewhere.

A huge round of applause for Endeavor Entrepreneur Amjad Masad and the entire team at Replit for this royal recognition and incredible milestone.

During Jordan’s celebrations of the country’s 80th Independence Day, His Majesty King Abdullah II bestowed the King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein Order for Distinction of the Second Degree on Amjad Masad, in recognition of his pioneering role on the global stage in the technology and artificial intelligence sectors, as well as his contributions to supporting Jordanian startups and empowering young talent in software development.

A proud moment for Endeavor Jordan.

Quoting Hamdi Tabbaa on this one: “𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬!”

This time, from an inspiring morning celebrating Replit’s Amjad Masad and Haya Odeh as the newest EndeavorEntrepreneurs to join the Endeavor network.

Replit is now one of the fastest-growing AI platforms in the world, serving more than 40 million users and valued at $9B.

Amjad and Haya built Replit around a bold belief that software creation should be accessible to anyone, anywhere. What started as an ambitious idea is now reshaping how millions of people around the world build, learn, and create with technology.

And the impact is already reaching home.

Proud to celebrate this milestone and excited for everything ahead.

Last week, Endeavor Jordan brought a little Jordanian energy to the streets of London 🇯🇴🇬🇧

With a delegation of 15 entrepreneurs, board members, and team members, we joined founders, investors, and members of the global Endeavor network for an exciting few days filled with conversations, connection, and community.

The week began with a networking breakfast that brought together leading VC and growth equity investors, Endeavor Entrepreneurs, and members of Endeavor’s London network to exchange insights on emerging markets and the future of entrepreneurship across industries.

By the evening, the Jordanian community grew even bigger as we hosted the Endeavor Jordan Diaspora gathering, welcoming around 90 Jordanians and friends of Jordan for a special night of reconnecting, sharing stories, and celebrating Jordanian talent making an impact around the world.

The momentum continued the next day at the Tate Modern, where nearly 300 members of the global Endeavor Catalyst community came together for a full day of insightful discussions, meaningful networking, and conversations shaping the future of venture capital, made even more memorable with an exclusive private tour of the museum.

A trip full of inspiring people, valuable conversations, and proud moments for the Jordanian entrepreneurial community.

This activity was part of the Worldwise program supported by YTJ and the وزارة الاقتصاد الرقمي والريادة_ الأردن.
