تجنب درجات الحرارة المحيطة القصوى.
صُمم جهازك ليعمل بأداء جيد في ظل مُختلَف درجات الحرارة المحيطة، ويتراوح نطاق التشغيل الآمن للأجهزة بين 16° إلى 22° مئوية (من 62° إلى 72° فهرنهايت). ومن الضروري ألّا تُعرض جهازك لدرجات حرارة محيطة تزيد على 35° مئوية (95° فهرنهايت)، فقد يؤدي ذلك إلى إتلاف سعة البطارية بشكل دائم، ما يعني أن البطارية لن تتمكن من تزويد جهازك بالطاقة لفترة طويلة على مدار دورة الشحن الواحدة. كما يمكن أن يزيد الشحن في درجات حرارة محيطة مرتفعة من تلف البطارية. قد تقوم البرامج بتقييد الشحن بحيث لا يزيد عن 80% عند تخطي درجة حرارة البطارية الحدود الموصى بها. وحتى تخزين البطارية في بيئة حارة كفيل بأن يلحق بها ضرراً كبيراً غير قابل للإصلاح. وعند استخدام جهازك في بيئة شديدة البرودة، قد تلاحظ انخفاضاً في عمر البطارية، ولكن هذا الوضع عارض ومؤقت. وسيعود أداء البطارية إلى طبيعته بمجرد عودة درجة حرارة البطارية إلى نطاق تشغيلها الطبيعي.
