القضاة يبحث في واشنطن تعزيز تنافسية صادرات الألبسة الأردنية

واشنطن -

شارك وزير الصناعة والتجارة والتموين، المهندس يعرب القضاة، في جلسة حوارية موسعة استضافتها الجمعية الأمريكية للملابس والأحذية (AAFA) في العاصمة الأمريكية واشنطن، لبحث سبل ترسيخ العلاقات التجارية الثنائية وجذب استثمارات أمريكية جديدة إلى المملكة.

وحضر الجلسة، التي دعا إليها النائب التنفيذي لرئيس الجمعية الأمريكية للملابس والأحذية، نيت هيرمان، سفيرة المملكة لدى الولايات المتحدة الدكتورة دينا قعوار، وممثل قطاع الصناعات الجلدية والمحيكات في غرفة صناعة الأردن، المهندس إيهاب القادري، إلى جانب ممثلين عن الجمعية الأردنية لمصدري الألبسة والمنسوجات، وعدد من كبار المستثمرين وممثلي كبرى شركات الملابس في الولايات المتحدة.

وأكد القضاة، خلال الجلسة، التزام الأردن المطلق بتعميق الشراكة الاقتصادية مع الولايات المتحدة، داعياً كبرى الشركات الأمريكية إلى استكشاف الفرص الواعدة التي تتيحها البيئة الاستثمارية في المملكة، والاستفادة القصوى من اتفاقية التجارة الحرة (FTA) الموقعة بين البلدين.

واستعرض القضاة سبل تسهيل إجراءات تدفق الصادرات الأردنية من الألبسة والمحيكات إلى السوق الأمريكية، بما يضمن تعزيز قدرتها التنافسية وتذليل أي عقبات قد تواجهها أو تواجه سلاسل التوريد الخاصة بها.

وشهدت الجلسة نقاشاً معمقاً ركز على خطط تعزيز منظومة الامتثال المستدام لمعايير العمل الدولية، ودعم سلاسل التوريد المسؤولة بالتعاون مع الشركاء الدوليين، بما يواكب المتطلبات العالمية الحديثة ويعزز مكانة المنتج الأردني في الأسواق الأمريكية والعالمية.

من جانبه، أشار المهندس إيهاب القادري إلى الأهمية الاستراتيجية لقطاع الألبسة والمحيكات، مبيناً أن الصادرات الأردنية من الألبسة إلى الولايات المتحدة قد تجاوزت حاجز 1.5 مليار دينار أردني (نحو 2.1 مليار دولار) خلال العام الماضي، مع استمرار مؤشرات النمو الإيجابية خلال العام الحالي، وهو ما يعكس الجودة العالية للمنتج الأردني، وثقة الشركاء الأمريكيين ببيئة الإنتاج المحلية والتزامها المستدام.

وأعرب ممثلو الشركات الأمريكية عن تقديرهم للمزايا التنافسية التي يقدمها الاقتصاد الأردني، مؤكدين تطلعهم إلى توسيع شراكاتهم الاستثمارية والتجارية، والاستفادة من منظومة التسهيلات اللوجستية والإنتاجية التي تتيحها المملكة بوصفها مركزاً إقليمياً حيوياً للتصنيع والتصدير.

JGATE successfully completed a series of industry sessions across Sahab, Dulayl, and Al-Hassan Industrial City, bringing together member factories for focused discussions on digitisation in the fashion manufacturing sector.

Organized in collaboration with CTeBS, the sessions highlighted global trends, practical tools, and real-life applications to enhance efficiency, transparency, and supply chain performance.

This initiative comes as part of JGATE’s ongoing efforts to support members, drive innovation, and strengthen the competitiveness of Jordan’s garment sector.
