In 2016 after taking time off from University, I was desperate to get a job. No matter what I did I couldn't get a job. I could not even get a get a call back for a job interview. At this point I realise I had to turn down certain job interviews so I could prepare for the more interested opportunities. After attending about 12 job interviews over the next week I was offered 7 jobs and I had the privilege of choosing the job opportunity that best suited me.
