Happy Earth Day!
Please share these tips and let's make every day Earth Day! 🌎
TIPS:
☑️ Bring a mug ☕to the office instead of using disposable cups.
✅ When replacing appliances choose energy-efficient ones.
☑️ Buy local and grow your own food if possible. 🍅🥥 Support local farmers 🥑and reduce the amount of pollution caused by shipping goods over long distances.
✅Carpool! Find co-workers that live close by and carpool. 🚙
☑️ Unplug electrical devices when not in use. Some appliances are constantly consuming small amounts of electricity when they are plugged in. Don't just turn off, unplug! 📺
✅ Use online banking 💻 to pay your bills online and reduce pollution caused by driving around to pay your bills.
☑️ Plant a tree 🌳🌴as they are good for the land, the air, great for shade and some even produce food! 🥑
✅Take shorter showers as every two minutes you cut off from your shower can conserve more than ten gallons of water!
☑️Reduce plastic. The less plastic you throw away the better. Use reusable water bottles, reuse plastic bags and if you do use plastic, look for places to recycle it! 😊
✅Teach your kids to reduce, reuse and recycle! It's important to teach them how to respect the earth as what you teach them will carry over into their practices as an adult! 👨👧
