Last week, the ICT Authority hosted and participated in high-level discussions with a technical delegation from the World Bank, alongside representatives from the Office of the Prime Minister, the Planning Institute of Jamaica and other key government stakeholders.

The discussions explored global digital transformation experiences, including lessons from Moldova and Japan, while focusing on the steps needed to strengthen Jamaica's digital foundations, enhance resilience and accelerate the development of a modern digital economy.

As the Government's digital transformation implementation agency, the ICT Authority stays committed to driving initiatives that improve public service delivery, strengthen digital infrastructure and position Jamaica for a more connected future.

Today marked the third and final session in our GOJ Digital Leadership Roundtable Series, held under the theme “Enabling a Secure and Standardised Digital Government.”

The sessions brought together IT leaders from various Ministries, Departments and Agencies to explore the Government’s eSignatures Policy and its significance in accelerating secure, efficient and legally compliant digital transformation across the public sector.

As Jamaica continues to modernise public service delivery, digital signatures are helping to streamline processes, strengthen trust and move government services further into the digital age.
