You open an email. It looks exactly like it's from Royal Mail, saying there's a missed delivery fee to pay. The logo looks right. The wording sounds official. But something feels slightly... off 🤔

That gut feeling? Trust it.

Phishing emails are designed to fool you fast, but so can your eyes if you know what to look for 👇

Three things to check right now:

1. The email address — click or tap the sender name and see the full address. Dodgy domains are the biggest giveaway 🚩
2. Spelling and grammar — not always obvious, but small errors are a red flag
3. Links inside the email — never click straight away. Type the company's web address into your browser yourself instead 🔎
