Last Friday we finished early and took the team to Valley Adventure Centre to experience their aerial obstacle course and zip lines. It turns out you learn a lot about your colleagues when you're eight metres up in the air! Everyone made it round and onto the final obstacle ...an ice-cold b**r. Shout out to the team at Valley Adventure Centre for having us. 👏

We swapped the office for the sand last weekend and had our SystemLabs Summer Social. On the agenda was jet skiing, rubber rings and wake boarding followed by a meticulously prepared barbecue ...all washed down with a drink or two.

Partners and kids came too, which is what made it a proper day out.

We’re a Jersey team that spends the year looking after other people, so days like this are part of how we look after each other.

The team at Sanctuary Trust spend their days on work that matters, which means the technology has one job... Stay out of the way!

Harry from SystemLabs ran a hands-on session with their team covering Outlook and Microsoft Teams: calling, channels and the communication techniques that turn five separate apps into one way of working.

A tool nobody feels confident with just sits on the shelf. The same tool after proper training improves teams efficiency and collaboration.

Connecting Minds came in last week and spent 90 minutes with the whole SystemLabs team. Culture and communication, plus snacks.

It was basically a crash course in why your brain reacts the way it does at work, and what to do about it as a team.

We held our latest Lunch and Learn this week, with Steve training the team on the latest features in our bespoke ops platform. From helpdesk tickets and billing to client dashboards and data syncing across more than 15 services.

A lot of what sits inside the platform was shaped by the people in this room. Ideas raised one week land in the platform within days, and over months of running that loop it's transformed the way we operate. The platform now works exactly as we want it to, because the team using it every day is the same team whose feedback built it.

The people shaping the platform day to day are also the ones our clients speak to when they need us, and that closeness is what makes the service feel genuinely personal.
