The lawyer in this quote has already experienced what AI can do by reducing 45 minutes of work to just five. But what struck me is that he doesn’t want to use those extra 40 minutes to do even more. He wants his life back. He wants to read again, spend time with his family, travel and experience life at a slower pace.

That, to me, is the really interesting question about AI. If technology gives us back time, what are we going to do with it?
Are we going to fill every productivity gain with more emails, more meetings and more work? Or can we start thinking differently about what human performance actually looks like?

This is why I’m so interested in the intersection of AI, wellbeing and human performance through Bio-Wired AI app Because the opportunity isn’t simply to make people work faster. It’s to use technology to help people work, live and perform better. Without losing sight of the human being behind the data. AI can give us back time. What we do with it is up to us.

“Hope, Want, Make it happen.”

Arthur Fery arrived at Wimbledon as a wildcard, ranked World No. 114. Today, he’s a Wimbledon semi-finalist. Even more remarkable, he wasn’t even born when Goran Ivanišević became the last men’s wildcard to reach the Wimbledon semi-finals in 2001, before going on to win the Championship.

His story is a reminder that talent alone isn’t enough. People need opportunity. They need belief. They need someone willing to open the door. It’s a lesson that extends far beyond sport.

That’s why I’m passionate about supporting female founders like Shubhi (Bhonsle) Rao who is championing AI built on representative, high quality female data Uplevyl The data we choose to train AI on shapes who gets seen, who gets understood and who gets the opportunity to thrive.

Whether we’re backing an athlete with a wildcard, investing in a female founder or building the next generation of AI, the principle is the same:

Potential exists long before the rankings recognise it.

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending the Mandela Tales opera at the beautiful Wigmore Hall , London. A captivating performance by acclaimed world famous composer, violinist and director Shirley J. Thompson Music OBE.

Inspired by Nelson Mandela’s Favourite African Folktales, the performance blended music, storytelling and animation to celebrate the richness of African culture, heritage and tradition. From the powerful opening of Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika (God Bless Africa) to the enchanting folktales and the moving finale, Precious Skies, it was an inspiring celebration of music’s ability to connect cultures and generations.

A wonderful performance by an exceptional ensemble:
🎻 Shirley J Thompson OBE – Director & Violin
🎙 Abigail Kelly – Storyteller & Soprano
🪈 Rowland Sutherland – Flute
🎻 Aaliyah Booker – Violin
🎹 Melissa Morris – Piano
🥁 Moussa Dembele – Percussion

Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing these timeless African stories to life in one of London’s most prestigious concert halls. I left uplifted and inspired.

I was delighted to host an Afternoon Tea for AWAKENING, the London Ladies Network, during London Climate Action Week at the beautiful Palm Court, Sheraton Grand London Park Lane.

As Founder of the Great British Tea Party and Bio-Wired AI, I believe AI and climate are the defining issues of our generation and among the greatest opportunities for women to lead.

It was a privilege to bring together women from business, media, leadership and the creative industries for an afternoon of meaningful conversation and collaboration.

Our inspiring speakers included Stefania Passamonte , performing excerpts from Soria Moria, the world’s first climate opera; Julia Goodman , on authentic leadership in an AI-shaped world; and Abi Green, launching MOVE, an innovative coaching and peer mentoring framework for women navigating career transitions.

Guests enjoyed an award-winning afternoon tea inspired by the British Summer Season, celebrating Royal Ascot, Henley Royal Regatta, Wimbledon and the BBC Proms, beautifully curated by Executive Chef james dugan

Thank you to Anders Winum and the wonderful team at Sheraton Grand London Park Lane for their exceptional hospitality, and congratulations to the Palm Court on receiving the Award of Excellence at the Afternoon Tea Awards 2026.

When women come together to share ideas and build meaningful relationships, extraordinary things happen. The future of AI and climate needs more female voices and purposeful leadership.

Today’s political events have left me reflecting on leadership and representation.

How many times can power be passed between the same circles before we question whether our political system is creating opportunities for new voices to emerge?

Too often leadership feels shaped by networks that were not designed with women in mind. Meanwhile, attention is diverted from the real issues that will determine Britain’s future prosperity: rebuilding our infrastructure, strengthening our competitive edge, preparing for the age of AI, reimagining the future of work and addressing climate challenges.

This is why I believe the greatest opportunities for female leadership over the next decade sit at the intersection of AI and climate.

AI is redefining how the world works.

Climate is redefining how the world must think.

Both require new forms of leadership, long term thinking and the ability to balance economic growth with societal responsibility.

Women should not be waiting for permission to enter these conversations. We should be leading them.

The future will not be built by those who inherit power. It will be built by those who are willing to reimagine it.

Visiting the Silent No More Garden and speaking with Tamara Beckwith Congratulations on a well-deserved Gold Medal.

Created to raise awareness of the five gynaecological cancers and encourage vital conversations that can save lives. As an ovarian cancer survivor, this message resonates deeply with me. It was my diagnosis and journey of recovery that prompted me to create Bio-Wired, with the aim of democratising health and empowering people to take a more active role in their wellbeing. Early diagnosis saved my life, and I remain passionate about helping more women recognise the signs, trust their instincts and seek medical advice when something doesn’t feel right.

At Bio-Wired, we believe technology has a role to play in helping people become more informed, engaged and proactive about their health. Awareness is often the first step towards earlier intervention and better outcomes.

Congratulations to Ellie Goulding on receiving her MBE from Prince William at Windsor Castle today in recognition of her services to biodiversity and climate action.

In a world obsessed with visibility, it is refreshing to see influence tied to tangible contribution.

This is a reminder that leadership is no longer confined to governments, boardrooms or institutions. Increasingly, cultural figures have the power to shift public behaviour, elevate critical issues and accelerate systemic change.

The future will belong to those who can bridge culture, capital and impact.

22 April marks the 56th anniversary of Earth Day.

This year’s theme, Our Power. Our Planet., is not a campaign line. It is a systems signal.

In a climate and AI accelerated world, environmental responsibility is no longer confined to policy or protest. It sits at the intersection of leadership, infrastructure, capital allocation and human behaviour.

The real leverage point is people.
Aligned individuals. Coherent communities. Intentional leadership.

Environmental protection now directly impacts cost of living, public health, operational resilience and long term economic stability. Clean air, clean water and clean energy are not ideals. They are baseline requirements for functioning systems.

The question is no longer awareness. It is ex*****on.

At Bio-Wired, we view this through a human lens.
Regulation before reaction. Alignment before ambition.
Because sustainable systems are built by stable, intentional people.

Earth Week is not symbolic. It is an operational window.

What are you implementing?
