Kodanda Rao's talent has earned him prestigious national awards, including the 77th AIFACS award, and a notable mention at the 6th Bhavan International Biennale of Printmaking.
Kodanda says- "I paint beaches, water and natural landscapes, because they are the connection to my native village, in rural Andhra Pradesh in Southeast India. Near it is the open bay of the Bay of Bengal. These images take e back to my childhood. The landscape thrills me. These paints are a celebration of nature and seek to transmit a sense of communion, freedom and peace. A joy of realising our interconnectedness and the beauty of being whole."
