ARTIDE – Arti a Tempo Determinato
A Vicenza, due workshop per lavorare su uno stesso tema attraverso tecniche opposte della stampa d’arte: la stampa a rilievo e la stampa in incavo.
Rientrando sempre nell’ambito delle tecniche più sostenibili e a minor impatto scopriremo due procedimenti differenti: uno che parte dalla superficie che viene incisa, rullata e stampata, l’altro da una matrice segnata e inchiostrata in profondità.

Workshop di linoleografia su elementi raccolti e rielaborati dal contesto del bagnasciuga.

“STESSO MARE”
Workshop di puntasecca su cartone di riciclo, con attenzione al segno e alla costruzione della matrice.

ARTIDE

In Vicenza, two workshops exploring the same theme through opposite printmaking techniques: relief printing and intaglio printing.
Both belong to the field of more sustainable, low-impact printmaking practices. They are two different processes: one starts from a surface that is carved and printed in relief, the other from a recessed matrix that is inked in depth.

Linocut workshop (relief printing) based on elements collected and reworked from the shoreline context.

🌊 Friday, June 26 | 10:30 – 13:00
“SAME SEA”
Drypoint workshop on recycled cardboard (intaglio printing), with attention to mark-making and matrix construction.

Da Artide – Arti a tempo determinato, un pomeriggio dedicato alle cose preziose: quelle che si costruiscono con le mani e si conservano con il cuore.
Tra libri d’artista, pagine e scatole da esplorare, sono nate wunderkammer immaginate, piccole collezioni di stupore e memoria.
Grazie a tutte le persone che hanno partecipato e hanno riempito questo laboratorio di creatività, racconti e meraviglia. ✨

At Artide – Arti a Tempo Determinato, an afternoon dedicated to precious things: those we create with our hands and keep in our hearts.
Among artists’ books, pages, and boxes to explore, imagined Wunderkammern came to life, small collections of wonder and memory.

Chiudiamo Maggio con un nuovo workshop da Artide :)

As tradition goes, since 2022 I’ve been celebrating with an event that truly reflects me: free, shared, and filled with creative energy.
We started with an online gathering alongside the event organized by , building a beautiful interregional bridge made of connections and smiles.
Then we moved into the heart of it all: a monotype workshop, where enthusiastic participants from the USA, Greece, and Italy came together at Artide in Vicenza to experiment, get messy, and embrace surprise.
Watercolors, wax crayons, and different tools to create unique prints, each one carrying its own rhythm and stories.
And like all meaningful moments, it turned into a celebration: during the open studio that followed, the works found their space while the first bottle of prosecco was popped, officially marking the birth and growth of this new space dedicated to being together and creating together.
A heartfelt thank you to all the participants, the visitors who came to share this moment, and to Artide, for allowing me, every time, to teach what I love, to whoever I choose.

Il Print Day in May è un’iniziativa globale nata nel 2007 che coinvolge artisti, studi di stampa, scuole e appassionati in tutto il mondo. Nella stessa giornata, migliaia di persone in oltre 80 paesi creano, stampano e condividono il proprio lavoro, sia online sia attraverso eventi locali, contribuendo a una rete internazionale dedicata alla grafica d’arte contemporanea.
Dal 2022 organizzo eventi in Italia legati a questa ricorrenza, con l’obiettivo di creare occasioni di incontro, sperimentazione e dialogo attorno alla stampa.

Quest'anno per celebrare questa giornata internazionale dedicata alla stampa d’arte, esporremo le opere realizzate durante il workshop di Monotipo ed apriremo le porte di Artide e sarà possibile visitare lo spazio e conoscere questa nuova realtà artistica.

Print Day in May is a global initiative launched in 2007 that brings together artists, print studios, schools, and enthusiasts from around the world. On the same day, thousands of people in over 80 countries create, print, and share their work, both online and through local events, contributing to an international network dedicated to contemporary printmaking.

Since 2022, I have been organizing events in Italy connected to this occasion, with the aim of creating opportunities for meeting, experimentation, and dialogue around printmaking.

This year, to celebrate this international day dedicated to fine art printmaking, we will exhibit the works created during the Monotype workshop and open the doors of Artide, offering visitors the chance to explore the space and discover this new artistic reality.
