Let’s crowd-source some thoughts here.

We all know that trends aren’t meant to be blindly followed, or observed without a grain of salt.

And if I had to pick a color to signify a major aesthetic trend that seems to be coming down the pipeline in the year ahead, would I pick this color? Probably not.

AND YET.
I have to admit that I have been seeing more medium-to-deep browns arising in my clients’ brand palettes this past year than I have in a long time.

There’s an elevated richness & warmth that a brown tone can bring to a muted palette, and a sense of groundedness & authenticity that it can bring to a brighter one.

And if there are two words I’m hearing a TON from my clients right now when they talk to me about their branding goals, it’s warmth and authenticity.

Brands are wanting their digital presence to feel more human.
And that does feel like it’s rooted in something bigger.

ALL OF THAT SAID — I want to hear your thoughts!!
