Lots of effort was spent on the engine calibration, as well as the DQ400 transmission in order to optimize the performance, by working on the 1.4 TSI thermal engine but also on the electric engine as well as the coordination between the two.
More importantly than peak values, the 480-500Nm maximum torque is now available from 1500 to 4000 RPM, making the car a lot more enjoyable as a daily driver.
MRC Tuning use specific and exclusive datalogging tools, which allow us to measure thousands of engine parameters in real time, as well as unique and specific programming tools, designed and developed exclusively for MRC Tuning.
Final numbers on this Golf GTE are
Stock 257 PS 404Nm
MRC Stage 1: 300 PS and 480 Nm
