I’m an Italian-American brand designer with over 20 years of experience in hotel and restaurant operations.

I work exclusively with hospitality brands to develop concepts and create brand assets. È laureato presso la Cornell University School of Hotel Administration ed ha un master in architettura d’interni conseguito alla Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Ha lavorato nel settore dell’ospitalità e come consulente di design per piccole imprese internazionali in tutto il mondo. La Blind Tasting Competition di ieri è stata un successo! 💥☕️

Grazie a tutti quelli che sono passati a mettersi in gioco, assaggiare, confrontarsi e provare a indovinare origini e processi dei quattro caffè in gara.

Nessuno è riuscito a indovinare tutte e quattro le origini e tutti e quattro i processi, quindi, come previsto dal regolamento, ho estratto il vincitore da tutti i partecipanti.

Complimenti ad Adriana, la vincitrice di questa edizione! 🎉

Un applauso anche a Maurizio, che ha indovinato tutti i quattro processi e ha solo scambiato due origini. Davvero un gran prova.

Coffee Talk #7 ☕️ 🌈 this Saturday 13/6 at from 10-12. This is a complimentary coffee tasting open to everyone!

This week we’re tasting a flight of espresso, filter and cold brew featuring some real bangers roasted in California and Paris. From high-altitude Costa Rican espresso to a community-driven Colombian coffee and one of Verve’s most expressive filter blends, this week’s lineup explored the many ways coffee can tell a story.

🇨🇷 Costa Rica Santa Teresa El Toño by .coffee
Grown by Roger Ureña Hidalgo in Tarrazú at nearly 2,000 meters above sea level, this White Honey Catuai is the result of meticulous farming, slow cherry maturation, and complete control over production at Roger’s own mill.

🇨🇴 Mujeres de Café by
Produced by the women of ARGCAFEE IN cauca, Colombia, this coffee supports a growing network of female producers working to strengthen economic opportunities within their communities. It’s also part of a program helping farmers transition from illicit crops to sustainable agriculture, making every cup part of a much larger story.

🌴 Wilder Blend by
A modern blend combining experimentally processed coffees from in Colombia with the elegant washed coffees of Mustefa Abakeno in Ethiopia. Fruit-forward, expressive and unapologetically vibrant, it’s a coffee that celebrates just how creative specialty coffee has become.

⚠️ and because a wave of new coffees has recently arrived in my shop, there just might be a few off-menu pours making an appearance as well…

Ciao 👋🏽 sono Jonny. Sono un italo-americano e vivo a Roma. Di lavoro mi occupo di branding e consulenza per il mondo dell’hospitality ma da qualche anno ho una grande passione per il caffè specialty.

Negli anni ho visitato caffetterie e torrefazioni in tutto il mondo, scoprendo caffè che avrei voluto condividere con altri home baristi in Italia.

Per questo ho creato l’altro lato di JONNY: una selezione di caffè specialty provenienti da alcune delle torrefazioni che più amo, ora disponibili online.

Chi è appassionato di specialty coffee sa che non sempre tutti capiscono questa passione. Ma va bene così. Io sì.

Se ti va, dai un occhiata all selezione. E anche se non acquisti nulla, mi farebbe piacere sapere cosa ne pensi.

Sto costruendo una community di persone che amano davvero il buon caffè e non vedo l’ora di conoscerti.

[CLIENT WORK] For Podere Malabiccia, the opportunity was to design a label that felt both artistic and deeply connected to the place.

Inspired by the work of American artist and olive oil producer , the packaging reinterprets her signature dots as olives, traces of oil, and abstract Tuscan landscapes. The palette draws from the colors of freshly cold-pressed olive oil, while the composition echoes the gentle rhythm of the hills surrounding Pienza.
