Transmissions went on air for the first time on the 15th of November from New York through a network of about 25 stations: radio was not only a group of local broadcasters, but a real national means of communication. 🇺🇲

The creation of the network marked a turning point in radio broadcasting, paving the way for a more structured and commercial approach to programming, including different show and sponsored content.

🏙️ The foundation of NBC was part of the rapid growth of radio in the years following World War I, when the medium had demonstrated its potential to reach large audiences and transform the way people received news and entertainment.
