Si chiama Black Princess, ma nera non è.
È un rosso profondo, vellutato, quasi scuro come la notte.
E forse è proprio questo che amo di lei: quel colore che sembra trattenere la luce invece di rifletterla.
Una ninfea che non ha bisogno di chiedere attenzione.
Basta guardarla.

❤️ Black Princess water lily
She is called Black Princess, but she isn’t black.
She is a deep, velvety red, almost as dark as the night.
And perhaps that is what I love most about her: a colour that seems to hold the light rather than reflect it.
A water lily that doesn’t need to ask for attention.
You only have to look at her.

🌟 Melpomene — Musa della tragedia.

6️⃣ Sesta delle nove Muse.

Melpomene, colei che celebra con il canto, musa della Tragedia, veniva rappresentata con una maschera tragica e una corona di edera. È legata alla profondità delle emozioni, al dolore e alla forza catartica del teatro.

Parte del progetto Le Nove Muse, dedicato all’ispirazione e al respiro interiore della pittura.

6️⃣ Sixth of the nine Muses.

Melpomene, she who celebrates with song, Muse of Tragedy, was traditionally depicted with a tragic mask and a crown of ivy. She is associated with the depth of emotions, sorrow and the cathartic power of theatre.

Part of The Nine Muses project, dedicated to inspiration and the inner breath of painting.

E poi c’è Yuki. 🐾
Più schivo, più fifone, sempre un po’ sulle sue.
Ma dolcissimo.

Ha un modo tutto suo di cercare affetto: più discreto, più timido, fatto di piccoli avvicinamenti e di fiducia conquistata piano piano. 🤍

Due gatti, due caratteri completamente diversi.
Due modi diversi di voler bene.

E io sono fortunata ad averli entrambi. 🐈❤️

And then there’s Yuki. 🐾
Shyer, more easily frightened, and always a little bit reserved.
But incredibly sweet.

He has his own way of showing affection: more discreet, more timid, made of little approaches and trust that grows slowly. 🤍

Two cats, two completely different personalities.
Two different ways of showing love.

And I’m lucky to have them both. 🐈❤️
