With the arrival of the Audi Nuvolari, BMW could consider developing its own mid-engined supercar, capable of taking on models such as the Porsche 911, Mercedes-AMG GT and Aston Martin Vantage.
An heir to the i8, with some references to the legendary M1 but with a personality of its own, using technology derived from the M Hybrid V8 competing in the FIA WEC ad IMSA.
The Bavarian supercar could be called the M9.
