ALCOVA MEXICO CITY / FEBRUARY 2027 / BUCARELI SCHOOL  From February 3–7, Alcova comes to Mexico City for Art Week 2027, marking its first-ever Latin American edition, developed in partnership with Proyectos Públicos  Thanks to the support of Proyectos Públicos, whose work in architectural regeneration and cultural activation has helped shape one of the city’s most dynamic creative ecosystems, Alcova will open the Bucareli School, one of three venues that will host Alcova Mexico City 2027, to the public for the very first time, bringing independent design into a place once devoted to learning.  Alcova’s identity, curated by Studio Vedèt, evolves with the exhibition as it moves through the years and across the world—shifting in bold colours and pulsing with a constantly renewed rhythm.   Visual Identity by Studio Vedèt   Photography: ACHACH FOTOGRAFÍA Mariana Achach

Today marked the second appointment of Gstaad Cultural Encounters, the seasonal series of cultural evenings held each Monday in August at the Gstaad Yacht Club, with an additional talk each February.

We created the visual identity for the program: an alphabet of forms, which we expand every year with new additions. The forms take their starting point from Scherenschnitte, the tradition of paper-cutting native to the Gstaad valley. Cut by hand, built on silhouette and repetition, historically used to decorate homes and mark occasions.

For its Mexico City edition, Alcova embraces a vibrant red that resonates with the extraordinary energy of the city that will host the fair next February. This red will define Alcova’s digital and editorial presence while punctuating the remarkable architectural spaces selected for this highly anticipated new edition.

JEWELLERY WAS NEVER INNOCENT

In August 2026, The Great Design Disaster presents a new exhibition curated by Joy Herro ( ), bringing together artists, designers, architects, and creatives—most of whom have never worked with jewellery before—to create works at the scale of the body. Jewellery becomes a medium for exploring identity, perception, presence, absence, and transformation.

Created for the exhibition, our jewellery works explore the relationship between language, meaning, and the body through wearable forms.

”The Amazing Cat - Portable Poem”
The ring bears the text The Amazing Cat, taken from a story by Daniil Kharms, whose absurd and illogical narratives challenge conventional logic beneath the apparent simplicity of children’s literature.
This logic is translated into the jewel through its exaggerated scale: the text itself becomes a structural constraint that dictates proportion, extending the object beyond functional limits. The resulting imbalance evokes Kharms’ sense of estrangement while recalling a child’s perception of jewellery as precious, oversized, and unattainable.

”Infinite Semiosis” Inspired by Peirce’s notion of infinite semiosis, the piece is conceived as an unfinished chain of meaning. It functions as a structure through which meaning is continuously produced, displaced, and reinterpreted.  Interwoven and overlapped in a dynamic and open composition, the letters intersect,
rotate and connect, forming a visual network that evokes movement, transformation and continuity. Worn on the body, the piece becomes a mobile system of signs, an open structure that resists closure and invites the wearer to take part in an ongoing process of meaning-making.

We designed the identity and website for Isabel Farchy, shaping a visual system that feels tactile and quietly handmade.

Working with natural fibres, plant dyes and reused materials, Isabel brings together traces of time and former uses into textile pieces.

The graphic system follows the same logic, letting letters shift and dotted lines move across the interface like seams and construction marks. The result is a visual language that stays close to her practice, framing her research through a quiet and essential digital presence.

NOMAD is about to open its inaugural edition in the Hamptons, at The Watermill Center — Robert Wilson’s landmark site for experimentation and performance.

Unfolding between landscape, architecture, collectible design, and contemporary art, this edition introduces a visual identity built around handwritten “The Hamptons” lettering, inspired by the area’s visual folklore and reinterpreted as a graphic gesture.

For the past few years, Studio Vedèt has been collaborating with SHAKTI DESIGN RESIDENCY, a pioneering initiative and the first of its kind to connect Indian craftsmanship with contemporary global design, for which the studio has designed the visual identity and website.

Shakti Design Residency is now inviting designers working in collectible and limited-edition design to apply for its third residency edition. The month-long programme will take place in India throughout November 2026.

On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, Delvis (Un)Limited presented The Romance of Fragility curated by our founder , an exhibition exploring the value and potential of fragility through uses and interpretations of the ultimate fragile material: glass.

The exhibition contemplates how the word ‘fragile’ is incredibly relevant when talking about a category of objects designed to inhabit our homes, with an attitude that goes beyond the function of the items themselves, in its most positive meanings.

Studio Vedèt developed the exhibition’s graphic identity and led the creative direction for photography, video, and the overall visual experience, creating a cohesive narrative across physical and digital media.

Noritake Design Collection returned to Alcova for Milan Design Week 2026, continuing the path opened last year with the launch of new collections and the identity by Studio Vedèt.

Presented at Casa delle Suore, within the Baggio Military Hospital, the project brings together Noritake’s century-long ceramic heritage and a growing constellation of international design voices, including Faye Toogood, Yabu Pushelberg, Marc Newson, AB Concept, AMDL CIRCLE and the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.
