unonovesette | Amber light for sensitive contexts

In a Florida villa, this installation shows how luminaires with 1800K (wavelengths 590nm) amber light can be harmoniously integrated into the architecture, respecting the landscape and the character of the night.

In sensitive contexts, amber light can help reduce interference with the orientation of sea turtle hatchlings and limit disturbance to bats and other nocturnal fauna.

In Florida, where this issue has long been addressed through specific regulations, and increasingly in other parts of the world, greater attention is being given to wildlife protection and to the way exterior lighting is designed, shielded and controlled.

At unonovesette, lighting design also means responding to architecture without losing sight of its relationship with place, ecosystem and night.

This specific light emission is already available on Vario 25, and this approach is being progressively extended across the wider unonovesette range.
