By far the best experience we had in Puglia. We took the fish market and rosato class with one other couple, making this a small, intimate class. Silvestro’s knowledge of wine, olive oil, Puglia, Italy, and the world as a whole led to extremely engaging and fun conversations. Learning about the peculiarities of Pugliese cuisine and general regionality of “Italian cuisine” was eye opening and surprising. Honestly, I feel like I learned more in this course than I would have in a guided tour of Lecce.
The food was excellent, the wine was excellent, the olive oil was excellent, the Amari was excellent, the host was excellent, the venue was excellent, there’s literally not a single thing we didn’t love about the whole experience! Our future visits to Italy will be centered around taking more of Silvestro’s courses!
