From 1968 to 1972, with the aim of redefining the forms and languages of architectural discipline at the dawn of the emerging electronic era and the mass consumption society, the 9999 group formulated a new type of project within the Radical Architecture movement. This project harmonized the intimacy of manual processes with media events, technological progress with ecological sentiment. The Space Electronic nightclub, built and managed directly by 9999, is the purest expression of their research. This book describes for the first time, in its Italian edition following the initial English publication in 2015, the birth and evolution of the 9999 group.

Giancarlo De Carlo – The Architect of Urbino
This research explores the deep connection between Giancarlo De Carlo and the city of Urbino, a cradle of Humanism. The work is divided into two volumes:

Volume I (Historical-Critical Essays): Focuses on De Carlo’s "ideal city" vision. It examines his university projects within Renaissance palaces, the campus outside the city walls, and how the "Urbino lesson" was applied to other contexts like Rimini, Venice (Mazzorbo), and Genoa.

Volume II (Photographic Representation): Investigates the relationship between De Carlo’s architecture and photography. It features works by masters such as Gabriele Basilico, Cesare Colombo, and Italo Zannier, alongside an extensive photographic essay by Emanuele Piccardo.

Goal: To fill a long-standing bibliographical gap using unpublished documents, archival materials, and new photography.
