12 metres in length and housing up to 12 networked players in mixed reality, it was a challenge for the team on site in Italy 🇮🇹

Pushing FanPort further for Toyota and VIRTUE 🏁

A massive milestone for our team: we delivered our largest FanPort installation to date, in partnership with Toyota and VIRTUE Worldwide. ✨

For the launch of the Urban Cruiser, Toyota took over the subterranean car park at The Hoxton in Florence. Here we installed a 12m long custom FanPort unit and took the Toyota Innovation Lab into mixed reality. 🇮🇹

Why so big? Because we regularly ran 10 people experiences in there - pushing it to 12 when required - and we had to leave space for a lot of augmented content, including a full-size model of the car itself. 🚗

FanPort has been out on tour at SXSW in Austin and London, then back to The Big Smoke for MAD//Fest. That meant thousands of smiles, the odd tear and some little dances too. Mixed reality is magic.

Thanks to everyone who came through at 🇬🇧 to try the mixed reality magic of FanPort Worlds👓 We demoed for roughly 10 hours per day to a knowledgeable, excitable audience who were treated to some fantastic talks, performances and exhibits. Huge shout to who joined us to present his own spatial music video in FanPort. 🎤
