Big news for Fobos SDR users! 😇
Fobos SDR is now natively supported in SDRangel, one of the world’s most popular open-source SDR applications.
Starting with SDRangel v7.26.0, Fobos SDR support was officially added to the project, and we have confirmed that it works in the official SDRangel v7.26.1 Windows release.
That means Windows users no longer need to compile SDRangel from source, manually copy libraries, or perform complicated setup steps. Just download the official SDRangel release, launch the application, select Fobos SDR from the Source list, and start receiving.

We have already confirmed that Fobos SDR appears in the Source list, connects successfully, and receives FM broadcast stations in SDRangel v7.26.1.
This is an important milestone for the Fobos SDR ecosystem. After uSDR and SDR++, SDRangel is now another major SDR application with native Fobos SDR support.
Linux support is moving forward as well, with the same goal: a simple, smooth, out-of-the-box experience for users.
Fobos SDR keeps growing — and this is another big step toward making it easier to use across the SDR world.
