LUMIN FIRMWARE 23 IS OUT NOW FOR ALL MODELS

The versatility of music streaming allows seamless mixing of local files and multiple streaming services, but it can introduce frustrating shifts in playback volume.
With Firmware 23, LUMIN extracts the native ReplayGain and loudness metadata from your files, TIDAL, Qobuz, Amazon Music, or Plex streams. It then automatically applies a precise, hardware-level gain offset that preserves the complete integrity of your music.
--- HOW IT WORKS ---
Off by default: Enable via Settings > LUMIN Settings > Volume Levelling.
Target profiles: Choose between Normal (-14 LUFS) or Quiet (-19 LUFS) (Loudness Units Full Scale).
LUMIN reads the native ReplayGain metadata embedded within TIDAL, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Plex, or local files containing ReplayGain tags. It uses this information to automatically and losslessly adjust the LUMIN volume on a per-track basis.
Models with a built-in DAC: This volume adjustment is done losslessly before the DAC/preamp stage.
Models without a DAC (Transports): LUMIN applies proprietary Leedh Processing Volume algorithms for bit-perfect digital output to your external DAC.
--- COMPATIBLE PLAYBACK METHODS ---
LUMIN Volume Levelling applies to:
- LUMIN App playback of local files (with embedded ReplayGain tags)
- LUMIN App playback of TIDAL
- LUMIN App playback of Qobuz
- LUMIN App playback of Amazon Music
- Plex playback directed to LUMIN hardware*
Note: Volume Levelling does not apply to third-party streaming apps, such as TIDAL Connect or Qobuz Connect.
*Plex users must enable "Analyze Audio Tracks for Loudness" within their Plex Server Library settings.
