Balma Boves, la borgata sotto la roccia.
Balma boves is a small village on the slopes of mount Monbracco, sheltered beneath a big projecting rock.
People lived there until the 50s, when his last inhabitant decided to move for good in the village of Sanfront, just a 20-minute walk away from here.
You can reach Balma Boves through 3 different trails and there you can also take advantage of a nice guided tour.
In one of the houses, there is a video playing all day, which explains how people lived there.
It is definitely worth visiting it.

Ring road P*s del Pesio.
The so-called “pis” is a karstic waterfall, which is visible just for a few weeks during spring. It comes from the river Pesio, that forms a sort of “tank” inside the mountain. When the level of the water is too high, the water flows out of the “tank” and it generates the waterfall.
The path to reach the waterfall is quite steep, but it is almost all in the shadows of a beautiful forest. 🌳
Good to restore oneself and to bath into nature.
