Im surprised to hear the words of wisdom I hear around. Yesterday I founded this guru talking things about love. Saying exactly these words. “NOBODY SUFFERS FOR LOVE”. Is the Ego to suffer. All these words, of course, spoken under a costume of spirituality. You know looking very Hippy.🙂 and pure, enlighten. I don’t agree. you are just talking nonsense to me. LOVE DO EXISTS, And missing someone’s light is a real fact of life. Maybe your grandmother, or a place you will ever go back again. So how can your Ego be the one who suffers if you miss your homeland and feel grief while far from home? Or if you are a writer and life brings you to a point you can’t write. Or a musician that can’t play no more!!!. Or a sculpture that can’t shape the stone. How can be the EGO to suffers? NO!! Is the spirit. Is the same with people.THERE IS only ONE LOVE!!! Revealed in many ways. But is the same source. Affection is a blue fire. And love is exactly the opposite of EGO. Only because of love they wrote. Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet. Wuthering Heights. Seta. Only because of love they painted THE VENUS of Botticelli. The kiss of Kilmt. The lady of Armelín. Mona Lisa!!!. The sculpted “love and psyche” (Rodin) and everything else was inspired in Art history by love. That’s the History of humanity those whom loved, or suffered for love true pure love, and transparent clean creative passion. were the custodians of the highest form of human existence. Love is wisdom. Love is light. And there’s no other purest word than Art. Than those words pure Art can speak. There is no other bible to me. So your words are not strong enough to convince me. As they seem only talks to me. Instead I reckon They did, they did pronounced the highest words by doing. By inspiring. By loving. With Art. Through the sacrifice of the spirit that takes creating pure Art to be done. That’s the highest legacy as it was god the one who gave them the gift to express a feeling and the ones with the capability to generate and transmit emotions. Without words. Dear guru. Doing is the best way of saying something.

When I was drawing the lines, I got desperate thinking about the fact that every single line I was drawing. For Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara was a day in prison. For just doing ART.
After a while I lost the count, day lines became weeks, months, years. This is just an Artwork made of lines. Lines counting time in prison for no reason.
Is not only an Artwork but a Remainder.
